A celebration of Dana's life will held at a later date and will be announced.
Dana O. Brown, 52, of Oakwood St in Lyman, died at his home on December 26, 2017.
Dana was born in Westbrook on October 25, 1965, the son of Timothy O. and Heather (Halkyard) Brown.
Dana was raised in Buxton, and was a 1984 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School.
Dana was an outdoorsman who brought his children camping, and many memories were made from their adventures of sleeping in tents! He also loved to spend his free time fishing and hunting. He owned a small family farm for many years; raising beef cattle, chickens, and pigs. Dana was extremely dedicated to providing for his family and worked 20 plus years at Huttig Building Products in Saco.
Dana possessed a non-judgmental attitude and was very kind-hearted towards his family and friends. His warmth radiated to those around him, and he made friends everywhere he went. His daily motto was, “Live for Today” and he was full of energy and fun to be around. And those who knew him best knew, he was also an avid gardener. Danaman will never be forgotten. . .
He is survived by his four children; Danielle Brown LaChance, Neil Orman Brown, Amanda Nicole Johnson, and Cheryl Marie Brown; his three grandchildren, Lillian and Abigail LaChance, and Eleanor Johnson; his siblings; Kimbalie Lawrence, Scott Brown, and Jason Brown; his step-mother, Karolyn Brown and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Dana’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
