Steven G. Bruno, 68, of Sanford, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2018 surrounded by so many of his close family members including his wife, five children and several of his grandchildren. He was born April 6, 1950 in Chelsea, Massachusetts the son of Peter P. and Alberta M. (Murray) Bruno. Steven was married to the love of his life, his soul mate of 47 years, Karen P Bruno.
Steve worked his entire life having several different trades and owning several businesses. He was most recently known for having owned his Billiard Hall, River’s Edge Billiards of Sanford for 17 years. Steve has always been known for his hard working ethic, involvement in local politics, his nonstop working personality and dedication to providing for his wife and family. Most importantly, he was very proud of the family he had created with his wife Karen.
If you had the honor of knowing Steve, you were considered lucky. He was one of a kind. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need; whether it was a listening ear and an advisor to any and all that wanted or needed it. Steve was the most accepting man of all people; no matter what their background was, which is what made him so very special.
Steve is sorely missed by the family he left behind, including his wife Karen and their 5 children, Lindee Payuer and husband Tony, Cheryl Bruno, Shawn Bruno and wife Christine, William (Billy) Bruno and wife Jennifer, Lori Loughran and husband Ryan, 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, sister Donna Gargiulo and husband Frank of Stoneham, MA, sister Sandra Grieco of E.
