Calvin Warren “Cal” Tolson, age 73, formerly of Natick passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 6, 1945 to the late Gloria (Walley) Tolson and the late Joseph Warren Tolson. He attended Burncoat High School in Worcester, MA and he was a retiree from the Teamsters Local 379, in Boston where he enjoyed truck driving and machine operation for many years.
Calvin always lived his life to the fullest, enjoying his family, his friends and most of all his time on the water. Fishing and taking care of his boat and his yard were his favorite past-times. He loved his children and greatly enjoyed his many nieces and nephews. He loved family barbecues, spending time in Hull at the yacht club, or having a beer after work with friends. Cal had a great many friends, who loved him dearly. He had an infectious laugh that he shared whole-heartedly and often.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Tolson-Alcock and her husband Paul Alcock of Waterboro, Maine and his son Keith Tolson, of Blackstone, Ma. He is also survived by his brothers, Norman, Dominick, and Daniel Tolson and Norman Peterson; his sisters, Cynthia Tolson, Ermine (Tina) Parks, Joann Crossman and Deborah Johnson.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Timothy, and Gregory Tolson and his sister, Bonita (Tolson) Davis. He is also survived by his grand-children Cameron, Angela, Maxwell and Colton Alcock and Desiree Tolson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
