A Celebration of Marc's life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Parish Federated Church, 150 Main St., South Berwick, Maine.
Marc Norman Precourt, 64 years old, of North Berwick, Maine passed away on August 9, 2019 as Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts at 6:13 p.m. after a severe stroke.
Marc was born in Biddeford, Maine on January 28, 1955 to Pauline Ouellette and Norman Precourt. He married Pamela Dinsmore on June 30, 1973. They were happily married for 46 years and had two children: Scott Precourt and Nicole (Precourt) Davis, and had three grandchildren: Emily Davis, Ella Precourt, and Jacob Davis.
Marc served 16 years as a non-commissioned officer in the Air Force. At first, he worked as a mechanic and eventually, he earned the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and served as an Air Force Law Office Manager. After his military career, he worked in business management for a number of newspapers, and then as a manager for Cumberland Farms. When he wasn’t working or volunteering his time, he loved watching the Patriots, playing tennis, bowling, traveling with his wife, and spoiling his grandchildren.
Marc was known for his generosity. He volunteered for Boy Scouts, Masons, Eastern Star, Rotary, and Habitat for Humanity, Maine Conference United Church of Christ, American Legion, Pilgrim Lodge, and First Parish Federated Church. He often cooked dinners for the Masons and the church.
Marc is survived by his mother, Pauline Allison; his sisters Debbie Gresko and JoAnn Gillis; his brother Donnie Precourt; his wife Pam Precourt and his children Scott Precourt and Nicole Davis, and grandchildren Emily, Jacob, and Ella.
A Celebration of Marc’s life with military honors will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Parish Federated Church, 150 Main Street, South Berwick, ME. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held in the parish hall of the church.
In lieu of flowers, Marc would have wanted to help others. Please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
