Carmine D. Amabile
October 12, 1963 - October 19, 2019
Please join Carmine's family on Tuesday, Oct 22nd from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Massabesic Lions Club, 813 Main St., in Waterboro.
Carmine D. Amabile, 56, of Waterboro and formerly of Saugus, MA, loving husband, devoted father, beloved son, dear brother, and cherished uncle passed away suddenly on October 19, 2019. Carmine was working in the yard with his father, Sebastian Amabile, and brother, Dan Amabile, taking a tree down when the unthinkable happened and Carmine lost his life. Carmine along with his brother Dan owned Amabile Brothers Plastering, a third-generation company.
Carmine is lovingly survived by his wife of 25 years, Michelle; his three sons, Carmine (CJ) (23), Anthony (21) and Leonardo (Leo) (20); by his parents, Sebastian L. and Janice E. (Ward) Amabile; his siblings, Teresa (Amabile) Moore and husband Robert; Daniel and Kathleen (Brown) Amabile; and Marie Elena Amabile and Paul Gilmour. He was a cherished uncle to Jill (Moore) Taromina and her son Mason; Thomas and Ashley Call; Christopher and Renee Moore; Matthew Call and Gianna Risti; John (Jack) Melanson; Daniel and Nicholas Amabile; and many cousins.
Carmine and his wife Michelle moved to Waterboro in October of 1996. Carmine worked together with his family to build their home and establish their roots in Maine. Together they raised three wonderful sons and enjoyed sharing their lives together. He relished in the lifestyle of Maine. He loved jogging on their country road, fishing and hunting with his sons, off-roading, and “wrenchin’ on the Jeeps.”
Carmine was a humble, generous of heart kind-of-guy, and was always there to help anyone who needed a hand. Carmine will be sorely missed by everyone as a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin and a friend. His memory will be cherished, and he will be kept in the hearts of his loved ones.
The Autumn Green Funeral Home is respectfully handling arrangements.
