Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Autumn Green Funeral Home, 47 Oak St., in Alfred.
Frank (Trey) Wallace, III, a longtime resident of Alfred, a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, died unexpectedly on October 31, 2019 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
Frank was born in Portland, on April 21, 1964, the son of Frank Lloyd Alden Wallace, Jr. and Shirley Elaine Gerard.
Trey married Mary E. Stearns 21 years ago and made their home at the Stearns Farm in Alfred. He was a hard worker and worked in management for several retail stores. He was devoted to his family and loved to go fishing, camping and swimming with his children and nieces and nephews. A favorite day was driving up through the White Mountains. He and Mary and his sister, Laura and brother in law Chris would take trips up to Bar Harbor and Boothbay Harbor. Trey could be found many weekends at the Old Port and nights at Sebago Brewing with his friends and family.
Trey was a movie and music enthusiast (even made up his own parody to music) and shared with friends. On Sundays, he would visit at his son’s house for good food and conversation. Trey was a good cook and enjoyed trying out new recipes and cooking at family gatherings. Making people laugh was his passion.
Trey’s favorite holiday was Halloween. He loved the decorations, treats and trying to scare the kids!
Trey will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Mary, and his children, Roxanne Stearns, Frank LA Wallace, IV, Ethan Stearns, Robin Pierce, and his children from his first marriage, Angel, Jessica and Krista; his five grandchildren, his sisters, Laura Hladky and husband Christopher and Cindy Covington and husband Mark, and his brother John Wallace, his mother in-law, Mabel and his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Autumn Green Funeral Home, 47 Oak Street, in Alfred.
