Mabel L. Crout-Hamel, 77, died December 3, 2016 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Grove Cemetery in Shapleigh. Mabel will be buried on the same day and time with her sister, Georgie Reed. Mabel is survived by her husband, Robert Crout-Hamel; three children, Andrew (Linda); Vincent (Diana) and Sandra Flynn (Michael) five grandchildren; one great grandson; brother Clarence Langley and sister, Phyllis Daigneow; and many nieces and nephews.
Georgie Reed, 80, a longtime resident of West Newfield, died peacefully on March 7, 2017 at the Newton Center in Sanford. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Grove Cemetery in Shapleigh. Georgie will be buried on the same day and time with her sister, Mabel Crout-Hamel. Georgie is survived by her husband, Earl of West Newfield; five children, Deborah Baron (Carl); Jane Bryant (Thomas); Harry (Kelly); Elaine Titherington and Ellen Munsie (Chris); 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; her sister, Phyllis Daigneow, her brother, Clarence (Jimmy) Langley; several nieces and nephews.
Donald L. Leslie, 62, of Sanford, died January 19, 2017 in Kennebunk following a long illness. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Alfred Parish Church, 12 Kennebunk Rd., in Alfred followed by committal prayers and burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alfred. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; his two sons, Matthew and Jesse; and by his brother, Donald Leslie and his two sisters, Frances Landry and Beverly Aboodi.
. A Graveside Service will be held for Helen I. Littlefield on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Chadbourne Cemetery, So. Waterboro Road, in Lyman. Helen died December 30, 2015 and was the widow of Gordon Littlefield, Sr.
