Kathleen M. Greenlaw, 87, beloved mother and special grandmother and great grandmother, died on September 13, 2017 in Brooksville, Florida. Kathleen has entered into eternal rest knowing she was loved by her family.
Kathleen was born on May 6, 1930 in Lynn, Massachusetts, the daughter of Albert A. and Katherine (Walsh) Mills.
Kathleen married her soulmate and husband, Arthur H. Greenlaw on May 22, 1949 and together raised their five children in Lynnfield, Mass. Kathleen was a stay at home Mom and Arthur worked for Northeast Airlines.
Kathleen was truly the matriarch of her family; from teaching her children in the Catholic faith, being home when they got off the bus and showing her love for them through her home cooked meals and mouthwatering baked goods. She was a woman who enjoyed long conversations one on one and her sense of humor balanced out the many challenges of an active household! Every Easter, the neighborhood would watch the Greenlaw family soldier down the road to church; with them dressed in their Easter outfits. Her faith was genuine and a true compass in her daily life.
Kathleen was a woman of impeccable taste; she loved to have her hair done weekly. Her fashion tastes were bright and bold colors, with nail polish and lip color to match! Both she and Arthur enjoyed their frequent flea market outings, auctions and the many yard sales they visited on their weekend excursions. They both shared a love of animals and believed in adopting animals from a rescue shelter.
Kathleen will be dearly missed by her children, Karen P. (Greenlaw) Levesque of Brooksville, Florida; Richard A. Greenlaw and fiancée Joanne Burke of Danvers, MA; David W. Greenlaw and wife Marsha of North Billerica, MA; Janine M. (Greenlaw) Richards and husband Dale of Parkman, ME and Mary Anne (Greenlaw) Beyer and husband Jon of New Ipswich, NH; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Maciejewski and husband Joseph of Middlebury, FL and one brother, William Mills and wife Beatrice of Saugus, MA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Arthur in 2012 and by her son in law, J. Paul Levesque.
