Paulette M. Webber

May 2, 1955 - July 7, 2020

Service Date:

A private graveside service will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.

Paulette M. Webber, 65, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully on July 7, 2020 at Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford.

Paulette was born with her twin brother Paul, on May 2, 1955 in Kittery, the daughter of George W. and Juliette (Cote) Reed and was raised in Sanford. Paulette attended local schools and was a graduate of Sanford High School.

Paulette was a single parent who lovingly raised, (with a good dose of stubbornness) two children, Robert, Jr. and Stacy. She worked as a factory technician for many years while keeping the household running smoothly. Paulette was known for her thriftiness and she instilled into her kids the value of a dollar. Paulette was a strong and independent person who worked hard for everything she had. She faced more challenges than most but she always persevered.

During the afternoons it was well known that you could not disturb her while she watched her programs, General Hospital, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Paulette was also an avid Bingo player. She loved to fish with her family, enjoyed spending time at her sister’s camp on the lake and going to antique shows.

Paulette will be dearly missed by her children, her grandchildren who called her “MeeMee” and by her siblings.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Robert Webber, Jr and companion Bobbi-Joe, Stacy Kirk and husband James, and her two grandchildren Ayden Kirk and Timothy Webber; her siblings Charlie Reed and wife Becky, Muriel Levesque, Donna Hathaway and husband Daniel, and Priscilla Murray and husband Vernon; many nieces and nephews.

A private Graveside Service will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
