Ann Lamontagne, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 31, 2021 after a long illness.

Ann and her family are so appreciative for the loving care she received through Hospice of Southern Maine as her health began to decline over the last two years.

Ann was born and raised in Saco, the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Snyder) Turgeon.

Ann’s son shared that she was the type of mother that all the neighborhood children gravitated to, she was a no-nonsense mother and cherished the time tending to her family.

Once her children where out of school Ann returned to work and took a job with Herman Shoe

During the warmer months Ann tended to her award worthy rose garden; the roses where so spectacular she often received complements for their beauty.

Ann admired all her roses but particularly enjoyed gazing upon her American Beauty and Hoover Rose.

She loved her family and all four generations gathered in Sanford to spend time with her as a family.

Ann is survived by her four sons who meant the world to her; Ricky, Shane and his wife Sylvie; Mark and Todd; six grandchildren; Cory and his wife Jamie; Jason and his wife Tanya; Ciera and her husband Matt; Dean and his wife Brielle; Matthew and his wife Becky; and Jenny; seven great grand children and one on the way; two brothers Kenny Turgeon; Robert and his wife Priscilla; two sisters Audrey Connolly and her husband Paul; Nancy Moulton and her husband Chip.

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years; Jean Paul Lamontagne.
