A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Goodwins Mills Advent Christian Church, 503 Goodwin Mills Rd. in Dayton.

Wanda Faye Small, 77, of Dayton, Maine, passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Hospice House on Saturday July 17, 2021.

Wanda was an avid knitter, crocheter, quilter, loved playing Bingo and square dancing. Wanda was also a long-time member of the Lions Club in Dayton and spent many hours volunteering throughout her life. Wanda’s biggest pride and joy was the love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who meant more to her than anything in this world and being a foster parent to many special children over the years. Wanda also loved to travel and her favorite destination of all was Hawaii. We cannot forget the love she also had for her dog Olivia.

Wanda was predeceased by her mother Arlene Sargent and father Wilbert Sargent, sister Sandra Sapp, brother Kermit Sargent and her foster father and mother Linwood and Joyce Goodwin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Frederick L Small, brother David Colbath, Judy and Frank Caldwell, daughter Shelly A Small-Paul, son Frederick L Small J.R., son Mark A Small and spouse Mary Dawn Small, daughter Sarah J Hudson and Spouse Gil Hudson and her 8 grandchildren, Jessica Butler and spouse David Butler, Vaughn Paul J.R. and spouse Delanee Paul, Michelle Paul, Dylan Paul, Chelsia Small, Maddy Hudson and partner Logan McCabe, Austin Hudson, Benjamin Corey and 11 great grandchildren, Ethan and Colton Butler, Mercedes, Chrystina, Hannah, Elias Paul, Leighton and LexiAnn Paul, Zoe Paul, Ashlynn Williams and Colt Bisaillon.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Goodwins Mills Advent Christian Church located at 503 Goodwin Mills Road, Dayton, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough and the GMACC New Parsonage fund in Dayton.
