Constance E. Theriault
February 18, 1932 - January 1, 2022
A Celebration of Connie's long and fruitful life will be held later in the spring when the flowers are in bloom and the smell of fresh cut grass is in the air.
Constance E. Theriault, 89, a longtime resident of Waterboro, passed peacefully surrounded in love with her family by her side, on January 1, 2022.
Constance was born at home in Waterboro on February 18, 1932, the daughter of James H. and Hazel A. (Ricard) Sullivan.
She was a graduate of Waterboro High School, Class of 1950. On November 25, 1950 she married Cecil Theriault and was married for 25 years before they divorced in 1975.
Connie enjoyed going to camp at Bottle Lake, in Lakeville with the kids, roughing it with tents before camp was finished. They had a favorite saying; the camps were named “Six Nuts” – with a host of interesting family and friends. It was here the kids learned to waterski and fish for the “big one.”
She loved snowmobiling with cookouts and having her family close by. Connie made sweaters for all her children, and she was known to have the perpetual green thumb. All her plants grew in abundance inside her home greenhouse.
Connie worked as a bus driver for 25 years with the Massabesic School System and thoroughly loved driving the Trolley on Route One in Wells/Ogunquit until she was 76 years young!
She will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her children: Lucinda L. Aldous, Kevin R. Theriault, Sr., James S. Theriault, Sr. and Kimberly A. Libby; her eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Her sister Marilyn Sykes predeceased her.
A celebration of Connie’s long and fruitful life will be held later in the spring when the flowers are in bloom and the smell of fresh cut grass is in the air.
The Autumn Green Funeral Home is respectfully handling arrangements.
